Community Vigil
Join Project SAGE for our Community Vigil, Thursday, October 8 at 6:30pm. Arrive at 6:15pm to participate in our Red Sand Project Action to raise awareness of human trafficking.
Location: Community Field, 10 Sharon Road, Lakeville - with candlelight Memorial Walk to Project SAGE, 13A Porter Street, Lakeville

About this event:
We are going to meet at the little red barn brewers (please carpool or park in other available lots as to not congest the lrb parking lot) and walk along the railway side of main street down to r and b to raise awareness for domestic violence and honor the beautiful Carrie Stetson! please wear purple and bring signs and banners. let's make this a magical day! at the end of our walk there will be a photo booth and a balloon arch for pictures! there will be live music, food trucks, vendor/information tables, face painting and temporary tattoos! help us bring our community even more with this wonderful day

Dot Fest
Project SAGE and Scoville Memorial Library will celebrate International Dot Day on Sunday, September 13, from 11:00–1:00 p.m. at Scoville Memorial Library in Salisbury, rain or shine. Free and open to the community.
Children and families are invited to enjoy a reading of The Dot, creative art activities, prizes and more—all designed to encourage children to express themselves, try something new and discover the many ways they can “make their mark.” We will also enjoy a variety of tasty, dot-shaped snacks and treats!
Project SAGE and Scoville Memorial Library join more than 34 million children and adults in over 190 countries taking part in International Dot Day, a global celebration of creativity and courage inspired by New York Times best-selling author and illustrator Peter H. Reynolds’ classic storybook The Dot. The annual celebration encourages people of all ages to embrace their creativity, express themselves and make their own unique mark on the world.
Registration for this event is appreciated. Register the number of family or party members you expect to attend.
Inspired by a book from our Early Years program, The Dot, a children's picture book, written and illustrated by Peter H. Reynolds. This fun, dot-themed event is designed for young children and families.

Sharon Arts and Crafts Fair
Each summer, Sharon Parks and Recreation sponsors an arts and crafts fair held on the first Saturday in August. The show is a 'juried' show for exhibitors, assuring that all of the vendors are exhibiting original works. This event is a Sharon tradition, having first been held in 1958, and has run each year since! It is held on our historic town green and is a free community event. The show runs from 10 am to 5 pm.
